Rangoli Powder

Rangoli is a vibrant Indian folk art where colorful patterns are created on floors at home entrances or courtyards mostly using powdered limestone, coloured sand, coloured rocks, etc. 

It symbolizes good luck, prosperity, and a warm welcome for guests and deities, especially during festivals. 

Rangoli designs can be simple geometric shapes, depictions of deities, or flower and petal shapes appropriate to the given celebrations. They can also be made with elaborate designs crafted by numerous people. The geometric designs may also represent powerful religious symbols, placed in and around household yagna shrines.
