Vibhuti

Vibhuti is a sacred ash made from the burning of sacred wood, herbs, or cow dung during Hindu rituals like Homa. It is used in religious practices to symbolize purity, devotion, and the transient nature of life. 

Devotees apply it to their forehead and other body parts, believing it offers spiritual protection, dispels negative energy, and bestows blessings.

It is deeply symbolic in Hinduism, particularly in Shaivism.
